So I took a stab at it and said, "umm... yeah sure". Thirty minutes later we're all at home and ended up ordering me the the best iMac available! Take a look at my set up, I'll get tan just by sitting at my desk! Thanks dad!

Tennis Challenge!

That's right, Chung Mr. "I pick on girls" decided to hit up Maria "High school Tennis Pro" and challenge her to a tennis match. Yeah I know, it's not a MMA match with Bao Quach, but Chung and Maria were talking shit to each other and decided to face off in the near future. Let's all face it, both played in high school and tennis isn't the coolest sport (sorry, chung, maria, & parker). But it would be cool to see Chung lose to a girl!

Being thankful for technology

A friend of my Dylan, had a recipe on his blog (Eat Drink & Be Merry) a while back. It's one of those noodle dishes you can order at AJ's in Irvine, it's called Beef Noodle Soup. His photography and plating made me want to learn how to make this dish. So I bugged Chung a couple of days after reading Dylan's blog and asked if he knew how to make this dish, and if he had more specific directions. (No offense Dylan, but your recipe directions were too vague for me.) To my disappointment Chung wasn't too familiar with this dish so he emailed Dylan to get the detailed version of the recipe. So I've had the recipe for the past couple of weeks and been real busy, but Lam and I found some time to run to Bolsa (I hate going there) to pick up the goods. While looking for the items needed, we found that some of the items had different packaging, names, brands, etc. So now this is where technology helped us out. I guess I could have got on the all mighty cell and called Dylan, but I decided to IM him with my BB, to ask the questions. Not only that, but the built in camera on my BB Pearl, came in use. I took some quick snaps and emailed them to Dylan while still in the store to be sure we were getting the right items. So once again, this is my thanks to the technological nerds making life easier for all of us! We'll let ya know how it turns out...

Who knew there were 30 kinds of soy sauce!

Sorry, no ipod touch...

Lam and I wanted to thank everyone for their participation on the free ipod touch contest. Though there was no free ipod, I assumed hearing the good news was just as good! (Ok, not really) But I couldn't think of another way to get our friends & family to my site without using the word "FREE". There were some of you who thought they were going to be smart and get a head start by having my blog open and ready right when they got to work.... I wont drop names, but you all know who you are! Someone even decided to take off work or leave school... I guess the moral of the story is, you'll do just about anything to get a free ipod! As of last night, Lam informed me that we are now at 11 weeks and our tentative expecting date is April 28th.

Free Repair!

If you are one of those unlucky souls, or if you're just plain careless and ended up with a broken LCD screen on your digital camera, you might want to read this. (If you still own an old school 35mm camera, how in the hell do you even know about blogs & the internet?!) I was able to get mine (not really mine, it was my brothers) fixed for free! So my younger brother Dalton, had his Canon SD500 for almost a year before he broke the LCD screen. As you already know, just because the screen is busted it doesn't mean the camera wont work. So my parents ended up buying him a new one for Christmas (My how things have changed since Derek and I were younger, if we broke it... we have to buy another one with our own money) and the old camera has been sitting on his desk unused for the past 6 months collecting dust. Now that the warranty period is over, he would have to pay to get it fixed. So I remember an old co-worker telling me a story about how his younger niece broke her screen on her digital camera, and mailed it to Canon for repair with a little letter telling them how she broke it. To make a long story short, she got it fixed for free! So I decided to pull a cheese ball move, and write a cheesy ass letter (wrote left handed to make it look like a kid wrote it) as if I were Dalton. Five days after mailing it out to Canon, they called me back and wanted $121 to fix my LCD screen, I told them I'll call them back after I spoke to my little brother Dalton. The very next day, Canon called and said never mind they will fix it for free and mail it back with no expense to my younger brother.

Another Win 4 Lemon Fist!

Bao Quach and Tenkei Fujimiya went toe to toe on August 18th at No Limits Event Center which held their 2nd event, with 8 fights on the card. Though the event center and production was weak, we were there merely to support our friend Bao. As you can see our group of friends, and his friends from the gym supported Bao by wearing a shirt with his name and picture. When the announcer announced Bao's name for his entrance, not only was our group of friends cheering for him, but a couple hundred others were cheering him on! After 3 intense rounds, Bao won by a split decision. Congrats to my buddy "Lemon Fist" Bao Quach.

If you look closely, you can see the sponsors on the back of our shirts.
Yup, InveSTORE.net was the largest sponsor for Bao Quach. Ok, so we didnt sponsor shit, and we had a free ride and we can't wait for the next one. Thanks Bao!

And this fag had the nerve to say he wasn't given a fair decision.
