Lake Arrowhead Cabin

Thanks to the Felix family we were able to spend the weekend up in Lake Arrowhead for dad's 59th birthday. This is Landon's 2nd time seeing the snow, and Anistin's 1st time. Driving up Friday night was horrible, fog, rain and wind made this the scariest drive I've ever experienced.

Merry Christmas!

Every year my family does a gift exchange with all the cousins. You're given two names, one name is your Secret Santa which you buy a gift for, and the 2nd name is for the person who you make a gift for. This years theme was "Silver Bells", and the gift you made must have some sort of silver bell or bells. Derek had Landon this year and made this awesome model of the house from the movie "Up". If you recall, the scene where the house goes up from all the balloons. That is Landon's favorite part of the movie. Look closely and you'll see Derek has a little cardboard house that has these strings attached to the bells (which are the balloons). Best part of this, the strings are actually fiber optics, and it illuminates when you turn them on! Landon loves the gift and now I have to figure out a way to hang this in his room. Thanks uncle Derek!

Auntie Lucy made this name plate for Anistin, but uncle Parker tried taking the credit.

FG's Christmas Party 2010

This year for FG's White Elephant gift, we gave away an Apple iPad. Unlike last year, we changed up the rules. Like your normal White Elephant, all gifts are limited to 3 steals, however the iPad had unlimited steals. Plus every time you wanted to steal something, the person stealing the gift is required to take a shot. Pang and Khanh went toe to toe, and about 10 shots later Khanh decide to throw in the towel and Pang was the winner of this years FG's Main Prize for White Elephant.
