The past couple of months, Lam and I have been attending these Thursday nite dinners. Between David & Teresa's house, Chung's place, now we've been added to the rotation to cook for the group. And by the end of the nite it becomes a drinking session for no damn reason.

Cheers!

As you can see, after a few bottles it can settle everyone down...

Our first trip to Indy! Yup, another costly trip to buy more ugly houses! I love my job! This is a view of the skyline of downtown Indianapolis. Lam's friend and bridemaid from our wedding lives here and is currently attending dental school at IUPUI. (Don't ask what it stands for, I already forgot.) Anyways, if you look at the first set of buildings next to the canal, I think thats where Karrie lives. I have to hand it to her, she was a big help in this trip and very welcoming! So she earned the nick name, "Hostess with the Mostess". Anyways, she showed us around town, took us out to eat everyday, and of course we couldn't go without clubing. Yeah, Tho loved that idea!

Tho and I both love "hole-in-the-wall" places to eat! We found this joint off the main street, looked pretty cool on the outside so we thought we'd give it a shot. As you can see, it's the size of a hole in the wall literally. The damn jukebox took up half of this place...

and the other half was being used by Tho's monster breaded beef steak sandwich. I had the 1 pound hamburger, the seasoning was great! Dont bother eating the bun, it'll just waste space!

Here's our triplex, again another great deal!
Paid $41,000
Value $70,000
Will quadruple in value within the next couple of years!

There's Tho acting a fool, and yes he's sober... Can't you tell?

I guess bathrooms aren't the highest of importance when it comes to renters in Indiana. I cant figure out why in the hell they would put such a low window next to the toilet. Can you imagine waiving to your neighbor while cranking out some Mr. Hanky's... Check out that closet, oh I mean shower. Might was well take a shower in the sick, it's about the same size.

Check out this bathroom, look at that old school tub. The great thing about renting to Section 8 tenants, the quality of the house doesn't need to be very high. Infact our property manager suggested we keep that tub, and just clean it and the tenants would be happy with it. I'd love to try out that toilet, looks like it can save me some time... I can shit and wash my hands at the same time. That'll cut it down by 45 seconds.

This one is pretty bad, but still seen worse!

Looks like the previous tenant had to leave in a hurry and left all his clothes...

...he even left his pet mouse.

There's Tho and our property manager Krystal, and a contractor bidding on the repairs for the house. As you can see Tho's already starting to use his negotiating tactics on his ass! Little does this guy know, but he aint gonna like Tho by the end of this day!

This is one of the cheaper homes we picked up. It's located outside of the Downtown area, they are soon declaring this area "Historical". I have no clue what that means, but I do know it will more than double our value! We paid $16,000 for this guy only because my partner knows how to negotiate like a Jew! (No offense to the Bagels out there) But the true value of this home is approx. $50,000.

You thought the outside looked like shit, check this kitchen out! We've seen worse...

For those of you that don't know this creep, this is my partner, "Tho". Pronounced "Ta". Look how hard this guy works, on our whole flight to Indy he was working on our website. Notice how he's holding the pen, since he's pretty picky when it comes to design, I figure I best let him handle the site.

Tho thought it would be cool to take a picture of this tower thing , I have no clue what it is but I guess he's right it's kind of cool.
